Psychology Research Technician (Neuropsychological Assessments with Children), Human Developmental Neurobiology Unit
We are seeking a highly motivated English-speaking psychologist to join a research team investigating the nature, causes and management of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The research technician will assist in data collection, including administering and scoring neuropsychological assessments with children participating in the research unit’s projects. The Human Developmental Neurobiology Unit encourages the professional growth of individual staff and continuing education opportunities are provided.

- Assist in the recruitment and assessment of English-speaking children (age 6-12) and their families.
- Scoring and management of assessment data, including neuropsychological test protocols.
- Data coding and entry.
- Other unit research operations. This may include, but not limited to, assisting with other unit data collection (e.g., for specific research studies), unit presentations, and upkeep of assessment supplies and devices.

- Experience working with children and families.
- Advanced training/graduate qualifications (e.g., Masters degree in clinical psychology, school psychology, or a closely related field).
- Experience with administering, scoring and interpreting neuropsychological assessment measures.
- Native level spoken and written English.
- Ability to work flexibly in a team environment.
Expected Annual Salary: 5M– 8Myen
*This amount represents the expected annual salary range for this position, which will be determined based on the candite’s experience, skills and background in accordance with the OIST Employee Compensation Regulations.

Full-time, fixed-term appointment for 2 years. Contract initially with 6-month probationary period (inclusive). This contract may be renewed by taking into consideration the performance, conduct, and behavior of the Employee and OIST’s financial and other circumstances.
