Full-time Technician position at the Synapse Biology Unit
We seek a motivated and organized full-time staff who will support iPSC cell cultures and differentiation into cardiomyocytes. The study is part of the OIST Innovation POC program, funded for 1 year and involves proteomics-guided optimization of human iPS cell programming into cardiomyocytes. Previous experience in stem cell culture is not required as we will provide training in all techniques required.

1. Minimal preferred qualification Bachelor’s degree or MS or equivalent in a scientific field
2. Previous experience working in a laboratory, mammalian cell culture, molecular cloning

Expected Annual Salary: 3M–4,6Myen
*This amount represents the expected annual salary range, salary will be determined based on the candite’s experience, skills and background in accordance with the OIST Employee Compensation Regulations.

Full-time, fixed-term appointment for 1 years. Contract initially with 6-month probationary period (inclusive). This contract may be renewed by taking into consideration the performance, conduct, and behavior of the Employee and OIST’s financial and other circumstances.
