Shuri Restoration Fundraising Drive
To all visitors to the OIST Science Festival 2019,
Thank you very much for coming to the OIST Science Festival 2019. We received 5,200 visitors, and many people enjoyed the programs, such as the science shows, lectures and demonstrations.

We also conducted a fundraising drive to help with the restoration of Shuri Castle. Thanks to the elementary school, junior high school, and high school students who volunteered, we received 241,605 JPY in donations, which will be used by the Okinawa Prefectural Government for the restoration of Shuri Castle.
