I am a postdoc in categorical homotopy theory and geometry, but with an interest in quantum information. In Okinawa, I am currently working with Artur (and some other collaborators) to produce freely available expository material on quantum computation, quantum algorithms, and quantum cryptography.

I am Marcelo Terra Cunha, a Professor at the Applied Mathematics Department of Universidade de Campinas (Unicamp), in Brazil. My research is focused on the Foundations of Quantum Theory, especially the so-called Quantum Correlations (Contextuality, Nonlocality, and all that). In Brazil, I am also one of the stimulators of investments in Quantum Technologies. I came to Okinawa with multiple targets: to find more collaborators and more applications to my foundational ideas, to help Artur in his text on Quantum Information Sciences, and to get inspiration from OCQT for Brazilian next steps.
