SEED program: Seishin Gakuen High School in Ibaraki prefecture visited OIST

The students challenged themselves to present their research project in English to OIST PhD students and received feedback.

Also, the program participants designed their own experiments in the field of brain plasticity with OIST PhD students Dmitry Kovalevskiy and Sharon Babar.  On the last day, students visited three laboratories, Nucleic Acid Chemistry and Engineering Unit, Macroevolution Unit, and Coordination Chemistry and Catalysis Unit.  It was a great opportunity for the participants to learn about a wide range of science fields over the course of three days.
