SEED program: Okayama Prefectural Tasuyama High School students visited OIST

Okayama Prefectural Tsuyama High School Students visited OIST for two days.

On the first day, the students attended a lecture on "Axonal Injuries in Medicine" and participated in a lab tour led by Esteban Gabriel Fregoso Fernandez from the Molecular Neuroscience Unit.

On the second day, the students attended a lecture and hands-on session on Quantum cryptography by Shin Sun from the Networked Quantum Devices Unit. Additionally, the students also visited the Quantum Network Device Unit’s lab, where they gained insight into the daily life of PhD students at OIST.

The students also presented their own research projects to OIST PhD students and received valuable feedback.
