Science Trip in Ishigaki Island
On October 25, 2024, OIST held a lecture at Okinawa Prefectural Yaeyama High School. The participants received a lecture from OIST postdoctoral scholar Dr. Tomoyuki Mano from the Reiter Unit (Computational Neuroethology Unit) on basic knowledge to the latest research on the brains of cephalopods such as squid and octopus.
