Alexander Mikheyev and Mandy Tin
OIST researchers Alexander Mikeheyev and Mandy Tin and their collaborators have found bees can rapidly evolve to resist new diseases, including the mite that has wiped out many colonies. This information could help managers of domestic populations breed for more hardy bees.
