Experimental procedure
Dr. Yuuri Yasuoka injects material into fertilized eggs of Xenopus tropicalis to inhibit functions of particular genes. Eggs 0.7~0.8 mm in diameter were aligned and each egg was injected with 1~2 nl (nl equals with a millionth of ml) of a solution, under the microscope.
