Public Lecture on “Metaverse and Virtual Reality - The Science and Technology of Interacting with Digital Worlds” including a public lecture in the evening  

The Community Cooking Series aims to bring the OIST community and residents of Onna closer through a shared love of food. Each session will be focused on one dish, taught by someone with a personal connection to the recipe (perhaps you?).

One day French-Japanese Seminar on “Metaverse and Virtual Reality - The Science and Technology of Interacting with Digital Worlds” including a public lecture and Lab tours in the evening  

Prof Tim Taminiau from QuTech in Delft, Netherlands, is an experimentalists who studies the use of defects in diamond continaing electron and nuclear spins for quantum technology. In this talk he will  discuss recent progress in controlling such electron-nuclear spin systems for quantum networks and for distributed quantum computations and simulations.
