The latest issue of OIST News, Issue No. 13, published December 20th, 2011, is available for download!
It highlights the OIST Inauguration, Mexican mathematician Dr. Tatiana Marquez-Lago, and a short feature on Graduate Student Research Assistant Mr. Ken Kinjo from Okinawa. The issue also covers events that took place in the last few months of 2011, including the OIST participation in BioJapan 2011 and the Asia-Pacific Youth Science Exchange Forum (APYSEF), jointly organized by OIST and the University of the Ryukyus. The publication is available in both English and Japanese.
