Science Class at Okuma Elementary School in Kunigami Village
An outreach class was conducted for 55 students at Kunigami Village Okuma Elementary School, focusing on learning about the mechanisms of the brain.
Ai Takahashi, a research unit technician from the Kazu Unit (Memory Research Unit), delivered a lecture on brain functions. She provided a clear and engaging explanation of how the brain works, incorporating activities designed to make learning enjoyable for the students.
The session included interactive activities such as brain-training quizzes to experience the roles of the brain and crafting "brain hats" to learn about its parts and functions. The students eagerly participated and deepened their understanding of the brain’s mechanisms.
