SEED program: Odawara Senior High School visited OIST

Kanagawa Prefectural Odawara High School students visited OIST on 3rd October 2024.

Eleven students from Odawara High School in Kanagawa visited OIST. 

PhD student Sharon Babar from Synaptic Biology Unit gave a career talk and talked about her research at OIST. PhD student Dan Kozome from Protein Engineering and Evolution Unit gave a lecture and hands-on activity titled "What are enzymes?".  Students also enjoyed a tour of Synaptic Biology Unit and campus.
