Outreach Class at Ageda Junior High School
A class was conducted at Ageda Junior High School on September 24, 2024, by Mr. Yutaka Kojima, an OIST research unit technician from the Reiter Unit (Computational Neuroethology Unit). Around 200 students attended the class, gaining insights into the work of technicians and research.
He delivered a career talk themed "Ichigo Ichie" (Treasure every encounter), where he explained the captivating aspects of research involving marine organisms and how the role of technicians is integral to such studies.
His talk was tailored to be easily understood by the students, sparking their interest in both science and technical careers.
