OIST Science Festival 2023

OIST Science Festival 2023 was held on the OIST campus with 1,024 pre-booked visitors. A "science show," Flames and Ice: The Science of Temperature, and a "children's lecture," Do you know Acicnemis ryukyuana, the insect of Okinawa?, were held in the auditorium, and numerous science programs, hands-on experiences, exhibits, and stamp rallies were held on OIST main campus. Visitors enjoyed the world of science as they walked through the research buildings, which they are not usually allowed to enter, and interacted with researchers.
