Our group is interested in utilization of coordination and organometallic compounds in homogeneous catalysis and in the design of stimuli-responsive polymers. The three main research directions currently being developed in our group are the following:

1. Homogeneous catalysis by transition metal complexes, in particular, hydrogenation/dehydrogenation, perfluoroalkylation, and C-H bond activation by transition metal complexes supported by modified pincer ligands and non-phosphine ligand motifs.

2. Modular multimetallic complexes for selective, metal-metal cooperative bond activation.

3. Mechanoresponsive polymers containing dynamic coordination compounds.
