Myrmoteras cuneonodum, ant head under a microscope
Myrmoteras cuneonodum was collected during field research in the forest surrounding the rubber plantation located in Xishuangbanna, Southeast China. This species was not found in the rubber plantation, which is a good example of environmental filtering.
