This workshop aims to introduce participants to the STAR method for concise, convincing responses during interviews, with a special focus on behavioral interviews. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on past experiences, practice with peers, and give constructive feedback in a friendly environment.
Participants will aim at the following learning objectives:
- Practice reflecting on past experiences
- Responding efficiently to behavioral interview questions
- Getting their message across with conciseness
- Evaluating the responses of peers
In addition to the practical session, this year we have several invited guest speakers. Kieran Deasy, the Director of Core Facilities, will discuss his perspective as a hiring manager in the Core Facilities section, while researchers from Suntory will share their job hunting and interviewing experiences.
