Commemorative Event for the Signing of the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding – Collaboration Agreement) between AIST and OIST

Description: OIST and AIST will jointly host a commemorative event for the signing of the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding – Collaboration Agreement), scheduled for April 14. This date marks World Quantum Day (WQD), which was established in 2021 and is celebrated annually on April 14 to raise awareness and deepen the understanding of quantum science and technology. In particular, 2025 has been designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ). The event will highlight the beginning of the collaboration between OIST and AIST in the field of quantum science and will feature a symposium exploring how quantum technology could transform future societies and corporate activities.
