COVID-19: Cancellation of Piano Recital by Yukine Uehara, and Suspension of OIST Campus Tours

We have decided reluctantly to cancel the Piano Recital by Yukine Uehara, which was scheduled on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 in order to follow guidelines on public gatherings during the current COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. We apologize for disappointment caused for those who were looking forward to the recital but appreciate your understanding. The well-being of performers and visitors is our priority.

We are also suspending the following OIST campus tours from Friday, February 28th until the end of April 2020 for the same reason:

1. School Visits for elementary and high schools

2. Guided Campus tour on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

3. Weekend Tours by OIST Students on every 2nd and 4th Saturday

Unguided campus visits for individuals and small groups can be taken as usual subject to compliance with health and safety guidance and the preventative infection control measures in place on campus.
