The FY2024 COI-NEXT Site Visit was held on Friday, June 7, 2024.
13 people from the Advisory Board, JST, and MEXT (observer), 2 people from the COI-NEXT Center of University of the Ryukyus, and 35 people from OIST participated online and offline.
This Center has been expanding the scope of its activities with the participation of several young researchers under the “Support for Early Career Development for the Next Generation” program since last fiscal year and the addition of new PIs from this fiscal year.
Active discussions were held between the Advisory Board members, researchers, and center managements, and we were able to receive a great deal of qualified advice and opinions that will turn the challenges of the center into opportunities.
We will continue to make efforts for further development of the center’s activities.
