Postdoctoral Scholars in Cryptography (2x)
The Applied Cryptography Unit has currently two openings for post-doctoral researchers:
- Postdoctoral Scholar in Quantum-resistant Cryptography (in collaboration with Prof. Ludovic Perret at EPITA, Paris, France)
- Postdoctoral Scholar in Multi-party Computation and Quantum Cryptography (in collaboration with Partisia, Aarhus, Denmark)
The successful candidates will have excellent post-graduate academic formation in cryptography, mathematics, computer science, or a closely related field, with relevant research experience for the research projects above.
Starting date: as early as possible.

PhD Programme / Research Internship
Students interested in doing their PhDs at the Applied Cryptography Unit are encouraged to formally apply to OIST's fully-funded PhD programme, as described here.
(note that all processing and admission is carried out centrally; the Unit does receive PhD applications directly.)
OIST also carries out a very popular and succesful research internship programme, aimed at bachelor/master's students or recent graduates interested in joining OIST as a research intern; see here.
