International Conference on Embodied Cognitive Science (ECogS) 2023
Description
The concept of embodied cognition offers a language that is suitable for building bridges between disparate disciplines that are investigating life and mind across different species in the phylogenetic tree and across key developmental stages in ontogenetic timescales.
The aim of this meeting is to bring together researchers from the different disciplines that make up cognitive science, especially neuroscience, psychology, AI, and philosophy, to explore the similarities and differences in the role that embodied cognition for their diverse subjects. It is expected that there will be useful cross-fertilization of ideas, leading to a broader recognition of the general principles of embodied cognition.
