Rational homotopy theory and computation of cohomology
Description
Title: Rational homotopy theory and computation of cohomology
Abstract:
In algebraic topology, topological spaces are studied via invariants such as cohomology and homotopy groups. By using rational homotopy theory, we can explicitly describe these invariants in terms of algebraic objects, namely, Sullivan algebras. In this talk, I will introduce rational homotopy theory together with explicit computational examples. Moreover, I will also introduce the software "kohomology", which I have developed to compute complicated examples.
