Title: Clinical Microbiome
Abstract:
Dr Osmonov present overview of KGDiscovery/KSMA activities. enhance the quality of meta-omics data.
KGDiscovery closely cooperates with the largest educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, including the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, (KSMA) the Academic Consortium “The International University of Kyrgyzstan”, Eurasian International Medical University (EIMU), the Cardiac Clinic “BICARD, the private clinic MEdcentre.KG. KGDiscovery has access to 30,000 hospital beds and >5000 cancer patients annually. KGDiscovery has access to pre-clinical facilities, NGS, and LC-MS analytical platforms.
KGDiscovery has successfully finished a meta-omics project of microbiome data collection for metadata, stool, salvia, throat swabs and urine from 240 patients in collaboration with a major Swiss company. KSMA in collaboration with OIST, finished meta-omics microbiome study of COPD and asthma patients. The results will be published in Nature Scientific Reports
BIO:
Dr. Batyr Osmonov is a pulmonologist - somnologist of the highest category (awarded title in Kyrgyzstan).
He is also a principal investigator at the Medical Center
Participated in many international research projects with countries such as Switzerland, England, the Netherlands, Turkey, Japan, China, Korea.
Winner of the Young Scientist Award among 96 countries at the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology Congress in Japan, 2016 Kyoto
Took second place in the competition for young scientists of Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute - Giessen Germany
Author of the national protocol for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension and obstructive sleep apnea. He is collaboration with Biological Systems Unit on microbiome
